The SPOT imagery archive extends back as far as 1986 and offers 10m to 20m multispectral imagery and 2.5m to 10m panchromatic imagery. The SPOT imagery can be captured on a daily basis over most areas of the world. Each SPOT image covers a large area, 3600 sq. km, and has been used in many applications, including agricultural and environmental monitoring, planning, exploration and natural resource management.
