Fugro MAPS' Images Processing Section is a high-tech production facility with the capacity to handle image data projects in the terabyte range.

It includes full capability to process ortho images from aerial photography as well as satellite images. This combination opens possibilities to provide the needed data in the fastest and most economic way. The recent introduction of the high-resolution satellite imagery, such as 61 cm resolution QuickBird images, provides a new, important data source for many GIS and mapping applications.
